Private Acupuncture
SLIDING SCALE: $70-$110 or Flat Rate $90.00
Contact info@mbccollaborative.org for information on our Charitable Care Fund for Scholarship Availability
There are many benefits to private room acupuncture services. Patients are able to receive acupuncture on both the limbs, head, auricular as well as back and abdomen points. It allows for more information sharing during the medical intake and an option to develop a treatment plan with not only acupuncture but electroacupuncture, cupping therapy, gua sha and movement and lifestyle recommendations.
We often see people schedule back and forth between community and private acupuncture. MBCC has created a model to make it accessible for all. We do have a sliding scale cash rate for private acupuncture. Additionally, there is a charitable care fund available should you or someone you know need additional support. All proceeds from our acupuncture programs - both private and community style - support Moving Beyond Cancer Collaborative’s efforts to keep integrative medicine options accessible and affordable for our Central Texas cancer community.
Community Acupuncture
SLIDING SCALE: $5-$40 - Whatever works for you, works for us!
What is community style acupuncture?
Community style acupuncture is a treatment set up where there are three zero gravity chairs in one larger room. Patients fill out patient forms and chat briefly with the acupuncturist prior to their appointment.
Patients take a seat and get comfortable to receive acupuncture. It is helpful to bring your own headphones and music to listen to but there will be some headphones available for use so you can relax with limited noise around you.
How does the sliding scale donation payment model work?
At Moving Beyond Cancer Collaborative, we want acupuncture to be accessible to everyone. The sliding scale donation model allows this to happen. While the sliding scale is $5.00-$40.00, this is a range. We ask that you pay a rate that is an honest assessment of what is feasible for you. All proceeds of the community acupuncture cancer care program will go back to Moving Beyond Cancer Collaborative program.
To Schedule:
Appointments must be scheduled 24 hours in advance

Will MBCC require masks?
Yes, we ask that masks are worn during the sessions. While recommendations are changing with the general population, we are mindful of our community and wish to do what we can to protect immunocompromised individuals. While we cannot control if masks are worn with other people within the building, members of MBCC and patients of the program will be wearing masks in our treatment room. Air purifiers in the space will also be running.
All proceeds from our acupuncture programs - both private and community style - feed back into Moving Beyond Cancer Collaborative’s efforts to keep integrative medicine options accessible and affordable for our Central Texas cancer community.
